Day 1: Arriving in Israel

you will arrive at Ben Gurion Airport, where you will be met by one of our representatives and assisted through Customs. We will then organize a transfer to Tel Aviv, where you will have dinner and spend the night. After dinner, we can escort you on a lovely walk along the famous and charming Diezengof Street, with its famous for its trendy shops, restaurants and bars. Time permitting, we will also drive through an area called the White City. This area is famous for its remarkably well-preserved 1950's Bauhaus architecture and was recently declared as a UNESCO Heritage site.

Day 2: Jaffa and Jerusalem

In the morning, we will take you to visit Old Jaffa, the ancient neighborhood of Jaffa which is famous for its arts and crafts markets and lovely historic architecture. We will also visit Rabin Square, a large central area redeveloped in memory of the former Prime Minister of Israel, Yitzhak Rabin. Then we will drive via Latrun to Jerusalem. In Jerusalem, we will start the tour with a stunning view of the Old City from the Mt. of Olives, after which we will walk down to the Dominus Flevit Church and the Garden Gethsemane. The New Testament talks about an occasion after the Last Supper when Jesus and his disciples came to a ``place`` called Gethsemane. It is said that he agonized and prayed there, and it is also believed to be the place where the Romans arrested him. Gethsemane derives from the Aramaic or Hebrew word for ``oil press``, perhaps alluding to the cherished olive that has always thrived there. According to some scientists, these large, interwoven, and still-producing olive trees may in fact be older than Christianity itself. After the visit to the Gethsemane Gardens, we will walk through St. Stephen's gate to Via Dolorosa (Stations of the Cross). we will visit St. Anna church, and we will then end up at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, where it is believed Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised. We'll spend the night in a nice and cozy hotel in Jerusalem. Remember to bring warm clothes because the atmosphere in Jerusalem at night tends to be a little bit chilly.

Day 3: Following the Holy Sites

Our day will open walking through the Jewish quarter to the sacred Jewish ruins of the Holy Temple - the Western Wall. The Western Wall, also known as the Kotel, is considered one of the most sacred Jewish sites all over the world. Many Jewish and non-Jewish people come to the Western Wall to pray and leave written wishes in the cracks of the wall. After visiting the Kotel, will continue to Mt. Zion, where King David's tomb is believed. We will also venture into the Upper Room in the Mt. Zion complex to take a look at the place where it is believed the Last Supper happened. In the afternoon, we will travel to visit Bethlehem, a city on the West Bank believed to be the birthplace of Jesus Christ, according to the Christian tradition. There you will have a guided tour. You will then be brought back to the hotel where you will have dinner and spend the night in Jerusalem.
Throughout the tour, our knowledgeable and experienced guides will provide you with all the information you need to fully appreciate the significance of each site.
