Day 1: Welcome to Cairo!
Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, you will be greeted by a representative who will assist you through customs. Then, you will be driven to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Visit the Pyramids
The day will start with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to the great Pyramids and the Sphinx, which are some of the most iconic landmarks of Egypt and the entire Middle East. These ancient structures are a must-see for any visitor to Cairo. After the Pyramids, you will be taken to a local restaurant for authentic lunch. In the afternoon, you will be driven to Sakkara and Memphis, two ancient cities that were once the capital of Egypt. These cities are home to many historical sites, including the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the first pyramid ever built. After the visit, you will return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: The Egyptian Museum and Beyond
After a nice breakfast at the hotel, you will visit the Egyptian Museum, which is home to the largest collection of Egyptian artifacts in the world. You will also visit the Citadel, which is a medieval fortress that offers stunning views of the city. After lunch, you will visit the Old City of Cairo, which is home to many historical sites, including the Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the oldest and most famous markets in the Middle East. Then You will come back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Going to the Desert
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven into the Sinai Desert. Sinai is a peninsula located in northeastern Egypt and it is known for its beautiful deserts, mountains, and beaches. In Sinai, you will cross the Suez Canal. Lunch will be served at Ras Sider, a small town located on the Red Sea coast. After lunch, you will continue driving to Santa Catherine, for an afternoon visit. Santa Catherine is home to the Monastery of Saint Catherine, which is one of the oldest Christian monasteries in the world. The visit will end with a dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel in Santa Catherine.
Day 5: Climbing Up Mount Sinai
The day will start early in the morning to start the climb up Mount Sinai, which is famous also as Jabal Musa. Mount Sinai is considered an influential religious site for Judaism, Islam, and Christianity, and also has a stop-breathing view from the top. After climbing, you will visit the St Catherine Monastery, which is located at the foot of the mountain. Then you will return to the hotel for breakfast, and you will drive to Nuweiba, a port city located in the Sinai Desert. The afternoon will be free for swimming and relaxing in the beautiful Red Sea. You will then have dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel near Nuweiba.
Day 6: Visit Israel
You will start your day crossing the Taba border into Israel. Then you will drive via the Arava, a long and narrow valley in the south region of Israel, to Masada, a fortress built by Herod the Great. Here you will learn about the stronghold of the Jewish rebels against the Romans between 66-73 CE. you will continue your trip to a nice break at the Dead Sea for a swim. The Dead Sea is a salt lake famous as the lowest land-based place on Earth. After swimming, you will visit Qumran to see the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. You will spend the night in Jerusalem, the capital of and the biggest city in Israel. At the end of this tour, we hope that you will feel the unique charm of Egypt and Israel.
